High-Strength Rubbing Regenerator

As a type of mechanical friction sand regenerator, the HRR High-Strength Rubbing Regenerator is suitable for the reclamation of used moulding sand and core sand used in the production of steel castings, iron castings or non-ferrous alloy castings with sodium silicate sand resin processes (including phenolic resin, PEPSET resin, etc).
It intergrates functions such as cooling, fluidized dedusting and scrubbing film removal, making it a relatively advanced used sand relcamation equipment.

Compared with other dry reclamation equipment, the rubbing regenerator features the following advantages:

Compact structure and small footprint.

Lower power consumption compared with pneumatic reclamation.

Better film removal compared with vibratory reclamation.

Low operating noise, small vibration and low requirement for foundation.

Suitable for sand with poor grain shape and easy to break.

Flexible combination according to the application and quality requirements of reclaimed sand.

Structure and working principle

The rubbing regenerator consists of a settling chamber, a chamber body, a scrubbing and film removing mechanism, sand fluidizing device, and a high-pressure blower.

Main structure of high-strength rubbing regenerator

The chamber body is made of steel structure and is divided into three chambers: upper, middle, and lower. The chambers are connected by bolts, and the flanges have good sealing to prevent air leakage.
Wear resistant lining plates are installed on both sides of the upper chamber body; A friction mechanism is installed between the upper chamber and the middle chamber; A sand fluidizing device is installed between the middle chamber and the lower chamber; The lower chamber is a sealed cavity connected to a blower through piplines.
High pressure airflow enters the lower chamber and passes through a fluidizing device and enter the middle chamber, achieving the effect of fluidizing used sand.

The rubbing mechanism consists of two pressure wheels and a rotating disk. The sand flow moves between the pressure wheels and the rotating disk, and the sand is continuously cut to complete the sand reclamation process.
